Lt. Col. Trevor Browne - Director
Lt. Col. Trevor Browne, an electrical engineer. He is the Chief Administrative Officer at the Barbados Light and Power Company where he has been employed since 1976. He is also a senior officer in the reserve of the Barbados Defence Force and is currently appointed to the position of Commandant of the Barbados Cadet Corps.
Lt. Col. Browne was the president of the Barbados Table Tennis Association (BTTA) from 1999 to 2005. From 2000 to 2004 he also held the position of president of the Caribbean Table Tennis Federation (CTTF) and Vice president of the Latin American Table Tennis Union (LATTU). He is also a longstanding member of the Barbados Rifle and Pistol Federation.
In 2008, he successfully completed a Masters degree in Sport Management with the University of Lyons, France. This was through the Olympic Solidarity MEMOS program sponsored by the BOA. In October of 2008 Lt. Col. Browne was appointed Chef de Mission of the Commonwealth Youth Games team to Pune, India.
In 2005, Lt Col Browne was awarded the Silver Crown of Merit (SCM) in the national Independence honors for his work in a number of national areas including Credit Unions, the Cadet Corps Engineering and Sports.
