Austin Sealy was elected to the Council of the Barbados Olympic Association in 1972, becoming Treasurer in 1974 and President in 1982, a position he held until 1996. He is currently the Immediate Past President. At the 103rd I.O.C. Session, Austin Sealy was elected to the International Olympic Committee, the first Barbadian and only the second person from the English-speaking Caribbean to be appointed to this body.

One of the Caribbean's longest serving Olympic officials, Steve Stoute was elected to the helm of the Barbados Olympic Association in 1996 after serving as Secretary General since 1968. His career in sports administration dates back to 1964, when he was appointed General Secretary of the Barbados National Federation for Cycling.

Ralph Johnson has been a member of the National Olympic Committee Board since 1986. He first joined as a Director and then in 1992 was elected Vice President, a position he still holds.
